The LG V20 is a big departure from its successor. If you have a hands-on experience with the V10, you will be able to tell the difference. Many recent releases adopt a unibody design, but this one doesn’t go with the trend. If you want to have a Smartphone whose back cover ccan be removed, this makes a perfect choice. The thing is the back cover is quite solid thanks to the metal construction. It requires some force, but don’t worry about breaking it because it is sturdy.

Design

As said before, the build quality of this device is amazing. Despite not utilizing a unibody design, it still feels solid with metal being the primary component. It doesn’t look quite special. Well, the majority of Smartphones look pretty similar, so it is not a big deal. It is measured at 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm and weighs 174g. Overall, the Smartphone is pretty easy to hold and not prone to drops due to the textured back. The design oozes a premium feel, which is understandable because metal can be seen all around. Another material that makes an appearance is polycarbonate. It is not less tough than metal, but looks just as beautiful.

Display

The 2.1-inch screen is available on this phone. It is not really a substitute to the primary 5.7-inch IPS 2,560 x 1,440 LCD display, but more of a complementary feature. It appears black and has a function to show notifications. There is a wide range of tools you can access through the screen, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, flashlight, and apps. As a side note, this screen looks brighter than before. The main screen has natural color reproduction and great details. It is not surprising because it comes with a QHD resolution. Gorilla Glass 5 sits comfortably on its top, protects it against scratches and stains.

Camera

Another interesting part is the dual cameras on the back. One is 16-megapixel f/1.8 aperture designed for regular shooting. The other one is 8-megapixel designed for wide-angle shooting. Both are capable of producing great shots. The results not only look vibrant, but also vivid and natural. Everyone can learn to use this camera combo, not just photography experts. Features

The LG V20 comes with a fingerprint sensor. More interestingly, the sensor also doubles as a power button. You need to hold a finger up to use the feature. While it is a nice combination, it takes time to get used to it. It is powered by a snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. As for storage, buyers can choose between 32GB and 64GB. All these result in a snappy performance.

The phone delivers a smooth experience despite all the features it comes up with. Remember that aside from the two-screen setup, the camera also features wide-angle shots, not to mention that audio quality is also top-notch. The addition of Android Nougat makes it better. Of course, it has certain customizations to make it more LG-flavored. Just try it yourself to find out the difference. Behind the back cover lies a 3,200mAh battery. What makes it interesting is the fact that it is removable, which is a rarity today since manufacturers are vying to create unibody flagships.
